Eric Grossman is a dedicated public servant, local business owner, and experienced administrator running to bring accountability, transparency, and modern efficiency to the Tippecanoe County Auditor’s Office. Currently serving his third term as Tippecanoe County Assessor, Eric has spent his career fighting for valuation equity and fair treatment for all taxpayers. He is now seeking the Auditor’s seat to ensure that the county’s fiscal leadership is held accountable to its constituents.

Critical Reasons to Vote for Eric Grossman
1. Easy Public Access: Eric believes that everyone should be able to file property tax deductions online. He believes that the Auditors website should utilize online digital forms for deductions and make it easy for taxpayers to file with clear instructions.
2. Fiscal Transparency: As the clerk of the County Council and Commissioners, Eric will prioritize detailed, objective reporting of financial decisions. He aims to replace opaque record keeping with clear, public-facing tax data portals and voting records. The county has all the resources necessary to conveniently convey tax and deduction information online without additional monetary cost.
3. Ending Wasteful Duplication: With over 15 years experience working in County government, Eric will audit, report and reduce wasteful, duplicative tech spending and dispute ineffective contracting and questionable invoices.

4. Restoring Self-Reliance in the Auditor's Office: Too many core responsibilities of the County Auditor's office are outsourced to contractors — from maintaining critical records to handling essential financial oversight. This approach leads to less accountability, higher costs, and a disconnect from the community we serve. Eric is committed to bringing these vital functions back in-house. He will personally lead efforts to maintain the digital plat book — our comprehensive, up-to-date record of property boundaries and ownership — while preparing accurate financial reports, projecting Tax Increment Financing (TIF) revenue to support smart community growth, and chairing key financial meetings. Eric believes that the heart of the Auditor's office should be staffed by trained, dedicated County employees who live here, care deeply about our future, and are fully invested in serving our residents — not outside contractors.
5. Equity-Driven Leadership: Building on his work as Assessor, Eric will continue to advocate for fair tax distribution, equitable employee treatment and seamless collaboration between the Assessor, Auditor, Recorder and Treasurer offices.
